I wish I could fly and journey to a new  world

A world where everyone is happy and no one experiences stress.

A place where its sunny and warm each day and everyone dwells outside.

A place where each person could safely be him/her self and not have to worry whether or not he/she fits in with the rest of the crowd.

A place where differences are celebrated!

The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.

It never ceases to amaze me what people are willing to do to have fun.

What is the definition of fun anyway?

Is it fun to puke one’s brains out as a result of an epic party?

Is it fun to block out an entire year of one life because he/she polluted his/her body with  drugs?

Why are people so concerned with having fun when the results could mean damaging one’s health and ripping apart one’s family?

Fun is no longer harmless.

Fun results in destruction.

TRANSATLANTIQUE: BEIRUT

No, I couldn’t tell you how the house burned down
Last night while we were running around
Midnight surrounds you, the moonlight makes you proud
Last night, oh, we were running around

Sing for last call, sing for last fall, such was it all
Sing for last call, sing for last fall, such was it all

All along I was your home
All along I was your home

Sing for last call, sing for last fall, such was it all
Sing for last call, sing for last fall, such was it all

And all along I was your home
All along I was your home
All along I was your home
All along I was your home

“There are several unbelievable things about Elvis, but the most incredible is his staying power in a world where meteoric careers fade like shooting stars.” -“Newsweek,” August 11, 1969, Review of Elvis’ Las Vegas engagement

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

Sometimes I wish we lived in a fairytale…

Where all of our endings were happy

and all the women were princesses and queens

and the men were knights and princes

and everyone contributed their skills to the land in order to maintain a serene fairy-tale like worl,d

A Lovely Day

Cuddling with the dogs

A delicious farmer’s skillet

shopping

A nice walk in the park.

Now that’s what I call a lovely day!
